Christmas chocolate tart
This chocolate tart is a pure sin! It’s soft and moist texture with a bit of crunch makes it fun to eat. It’s an easy to make recipe that you can decorate in a little winter wonderland such as I did on the pictures :)
It has an intense chocolate flavour with a gentle nutty taste coming from the pine nuts.
We can say it’s like a bite of Southern European brownie. Warning: It’s gone quick!
Ingredients:
200 g dark chocolate coat
100 g Pine nuts
125 g soft butter + 2 tsp for the form
4 eggs
100 g sugar
50 g flour
1 package vanilla sugar
Icing sugar and kakao for dusting
How to:
To get started melt the chocolate coat in a water bath. Pre heat the oven on 130 degrees.
Separate the egg you from the egg white and whip the egg whites until it’s stiff. Put the egg yolk to the side.
Mix the butter, the sugar and vanilla sugar in a Bowl. Add the egg yolks one by one and add the melted chocolate coating.
Pile the egg white on top and sift the flour over it.
Then whisk everything gently together.
Pour the dough in a greased cake form and place it in the middle row of your oven.
Bake 30-40 min on 130 degrees Celsius (266 FH) and make the stick-test.
Eventually bake longer if needed.
When the cake is done, let It cool down for 15 min.
Powder some icing sugar on top and decorate if you want with some Fondant shaped as Christmas trees (you can use some forms to cut out the shapes you want)
