Farfalle Carbonara with Mushrooms
Do you also have a big craving for Pasta once in a while? I did have this a couple of days ago, and I decided to put this simple and good recipe on the Blog.
What I love about Carbonara is this creamy and comforting texture that comes with a lot of cheese! :)
As some friends (me included) would say: Pasta is Life!
Why have simple Farfalle if we can have beautiful colourful ones?
Prep Time: approx. 15min.
Cooking Time: approx. 15 min.
Serves: 4 Portions
Ingredients:
500 gr Farfalle
200 gr Crème Fraiche
2 garlic cloves
Half of 1 red onion
Mushrooms (around 10)
Bunch of Parsil
Bunch of Basil
Bunch of Oregano
100 gr of ham
Directions:
First wash and cut the Onion in small cubes, chop the garlic in very small pieces then slice the mushrooms.
Wash and cut the herbes in small pieces and leave some whole ones for the topping. Also cut the Ham in mouth friendly pieces.
Heat up olive oil in the pan and start cooking the onions let them become golden add salt and pepper and add garlic, cook for another minute.
Put water to boil in a pan and add 1 tsp of salt. Meanwhile you can add the mushrooms in the pan, Add the oregano, basil and of course parsil.
When the water is boiling pour in the Farfalle and let it simmer for approx. 11 min.
Drain the pasta in a colander at the end of the cooking time.
Now put the crème fraiche in the pan and mix it with the mushrooms and ham.
Finally it’s ready to serve, usually you mix the pasta with the cream together and add some parmesan and it becomes a very creamy pleasant texture. (in our case we didn’t mix the pasta and the cream for aesthetic reasons ;)
Enjoy!
