Banana chocolate chip Bread
After baking this amazing banana bread since approximately 2 years, I finally decided to make my friends and family happy and share the recipe.
I’m very honoured to show you guys the beautiful result of this long awaited photo session, btw the first photo shooting in our new apartment. :)
This banana bread is thrilling by the smell it spreads while it’s baking in the oven, but mostly by it’s soft and juicy texture and amazing taste. Sometimes I bake just a plain banana bread without chocolate chips,. Both versions are delicious!
You can never do anything wrong by bringing a banana bread to a friends gathering or to have one left for a warm and cosy evening at home.
Time: 1h 30
20 min preparing
60-70 min of baking
Ingredients: (for a big cake form)
150 g Sugar
100 g of butter , plus a little more to grease the form
100 g of chocolate chips
1 pinch of salt
2 big eggs
360 g flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 big, ripe bananas
250 ml of milk
Directions:
Pre-heat the oven on 320 degree FH (that are 160 degree Celsius). grease one big cake form and after that put a little bit of flour in it and shake it until the form is covered with flour. finally throw away the left over.
mix the sugar, the butter and the salt until it becomes one substance. Add the eggs and mix them in.
Mix the flour with the baking soda and then mix it well with the dough. mash the bananas well and mix with the milk. Then add both to the dough and mix it well. Add the chocolate chips to the dough and mix it a little.
Pour the dough in the cake form and flatten it. bake it in the oven for 60 min, (or more! My cakes needed approx. 80 min!) until the cake is nicely tanned and until the little wood-stick comes out clean. Let the cake cool down.
